The trials/grading procedure is designed to streamline both the on court and off court aspects of the process. All trials/grading are held at the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association outdoor courts.

Phase 1 – Trials
New players will trial for the club alongside existing members.

In line with our existing policies:
  • Existing club members (i.e. played the previous year) retain their position at the club for the next season.
  • Former club members (i.e. played previously for the club, but not in the prior season), siblings of an existing member and daughter / granddaughter / niece / cousin of a current / former member will be given preference for a position at the club, subject to positions available and position suitability (team balance), however a position is not guaranteed.
  • New players will trial for a position at the club. Selectors consider new players based on ability, development potential, and position suitability (team balance).

New players must be available for Phase 1 trials. At the end of Phase 1 those who are successful will go through to Phase 2 which will be announced on this website.

Phase 2 – Grading
All club members, including new members, will be graded by selectors into teams. Graders consider ability, development potential and position suitability (team balance).
