Trials/Grading Calendar
All the grading dates and times can be found on our Trials Calendar. Please arrive about 20 minutes early to allow time for check-in and warm up.
Remember Your Leg Number
At your first trial you will be issued with a leg number. Please make a note of this number because when we make announcements on the website we will refer to you by your leg number and not your name.
Unable To Attend A Trial Or Grading?
If you cannot attend a trial please fill out our Trial Non-Attendance form.
Please note players must endeavour to attend all trials/grading sessions.
Phase 1 trials are compulsory and we are unable to accept registrations for new players that cannot attend the first trial. If two consecutive sessions are missed, players cannot be guaranteed a position at the club for that particular season, this policy is for existing members and new players trialling.
Please give at least 24 hours notice unless you have a medical certificate.
Do You Have A Question?
Do you have a question about registrations or the trial/grading process? First try looking at our Trials Handbook and FAQ's.
If you can't find the answer to your question there, try contacting one of the following Committee Members:
Trials/Grading
The trials/grading procedure is designed to streamline both the on court and off court aspects of the process. All trials/grading are held at the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association outdoor courts.

Phase 1 – Trials
New players will trial for the club alongside existing members.

In line with our existing policies:
  • Existing club members (i.e. played the previous year) retain their position at the club for the next season.
  • Former club members (i.e. played previously for the club, but not in the prior season), siblings of an existing member and daughter / granddaughter / niece / cousin of a current / former member will be given preference for a position at the club, subject to positions available and position suitability (team balance), however a position is not guaranteed.
  • New players will trial for a position at the club. Selectors consider new players based on ability, development potential, and position suitability (team balance).

New players must be available for Phase 1 trials. At the end of Phase 1 those who are successful will go through to Phase 2 which will be announced on this website.

Phase 2 – Grading
All club members, including new members, will be graded by selectors into teams. Graders consider ability, development potential and position suitability (team balance).
