All Rounder Award

The All Rounder Award was initiated in 2018 to recognise a playing member of Hamersley Netball Club who lives by the Hamersley values and embodies our “be the best you can be” motto, by not only representing Hamersley on the wider netball stage but also giving back to the club which highlights important community service, personal development and emerging leadership elements for our members.
Another important aspect of this award is the commitment to being a “Triple Impact Competitor” (make themselves better, make the team better and make the competition better) whilst displaying these traits on the court, whether at Hamersley or beyond in the netball pathway. The recipient should also live and role model our club values of Respect, Belonging and Professionalism off the court and is the epitome of an all round athlete by stepping up when needed to support either their team or the club or both.
Congratulations to Chelsea Cook from Team 1 – our 2020 All Rounder.

20U Curtin Hamersley Comets
2020 has seen Chelsea experience the high and lows of sport, from the excitement of her various selections and making finals as the Coach of Hamersley 19, to rupturing her ACL, undergoing surgery and commencing the 12-month rehab process. Despite this roller-coaster of a year, Chelsea has continued to lead by example and put 100% effort into all her netball commitments.
Chels, you are a wonderful role model at our club, balancing progressing your own “playing career” with giving back to the club and association as a coach and umpire.
