Registration Payments Due Soon!
Have you paid your registration fees? All current member's registration payments must be received by 5pm on Thursday 11 February.
Please note this does not apply to new triallists who will have already paid $100 trial fee on completion of the New Player Trial Form.
Our bank details can be found here. All payments need either your MyNetball Participant ID or Name as reference.

Trials Information Update!
New Player Trials

New Player trials will be held on Saturday 13 February at Kingsway Indoor Stadium.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions we have changed the format and times of the New Player Trials. Please see below for important time changes:
11U & 12U players will not be required to wear a mask and we will be running the trials as normal.
Sign in - 4:00pm
Parents pickup - 5:45pm
13U, 15U & 18U players over the age of 12 are required to wear a mask and instead of trials we will be running a skills assessment. Anyone over the age of 16 must scan in using the QR code on the Safe WA app or sign in on the attendance sheet. There will be a supply of masks on hand for anyone who needs one.
Sign in - 6:15pm
Parents pickup - 7:30pm
Kingsway Indoor Stadium have agreed to accommodate one spectator per child.
Existing Club Members Phase 1 Trials

Existing club members Phase 1 trials start on Sunday 14 February.
Please note, the location for these trials have changed and will now be held at Craigie Leisure Centre. Hopefully we will have returned to pre-lockdown Phase 4A rules and masks will no longer be required. Unfortunately there won't be enough room at this venue for parents/guardians to stay and watch the trials.

All trials following 13 and 14 February will be held at WDNA. This year we will be trialling in a new court location at WDNA. To find where we will be view our Trials Map.
When you arrive, check in at the registration table so they can record your attendance and give you a leg number. Please remember your leg number as it will be used for the whole trial/grading process.

Is your child eligible for up to $150 towards club fees?
KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport and recreation by offering them financial assistance of up to $150 per calendar year towards club fees.

KidSport is funded by The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.

Strength & Conditioning Program
Registrations are now open for Term 1 of our 2021 Strength & Conditioning program specifically designed for 11-17 year olds.
Netball requires you to be fit and strong. Strength underpins speed, agility and resilience. Join the Warwick Workout Netball Strength and Conditioning program to maximise your netball performance and reach your netball goals.

Hamersley Boys Netball Program
Hamersley Netball Club is excited to announce an 8 week Boys Netball Program! This brand new program is open to boys aged between 13 and 17 (must be born between 1 Jan 2004 and 31 Dec 2008).
The program is designed to develop netball skills at all levels through drills, game sense and match play. Sessions will held at the WDNA Courts and will include weekly training and intra club match play. Programs will run on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 7:30pm beginning Tuesday 4 May.

Hamersley 2021 AGM
This is a reminder that Hamersley Netball Club will be holding its 2021 AGM on Thursday 28 January from 7 - 7:30pm. The meeting will be held at the WDNA Meeting Room, Kingsway Sporting Complex, Spectator Drive, Madeley.
Hamersley Parent Netball WA Player Pathway meeting for 11U, 12U & 13U's will be held prior to the AGM from 6 - 7pm.

2021 Committee Positions
Hamersley's 2021 Committee of Management positions are now closed however you can still volunteer for a Subcommittee position or show an expression of interest!
Please note: Preference will be given to the returning Subcommittee, however the club keenly welcomes all expressions of interest from club members.
Every good club has great volunteers. Parents of our junior members are expected to assist the club through the year and becoming a Committee Member is just one of the great ways you can help us. Open players can also accrue HNC Legend points by volunteering as a Committee Member.
Any member that has other skills not covered in our current Subcommittee roles are encouraged to contact our Club Secretary Nat Ellis to see how they can help with running of our club.
Committee of Managment Nominations closed at 5pm on Wednesday 20 January.

Parent Pathway Meeting
Hamersley Parent Pathway Meeting for 11U, 12U & 13U's will be held at the WDNA Meeting Room. Kingsway Sporting Complex, Spectator Drive, Madeley on Thursday 28 January from 6 - 7pm prior to our AGM.
This meeting will provide information on the Netball WA Player Pathway.
Please note, parents of new players who have registered to trial for the club this season are also welcome to attend the meeting.

2021 State Team Trials
Registrations are now open for 17U & 19U West Australian State Teams.
Netball WA's vision is to select the best emerging talent across the State to represent Western Australia at the National Netball Championships.
The State Program is an integral step in the Netball WA Pathway and Netball WA are looking for athletes who are ready to embark on the journey and enjoy the challenge.

Registrations for 2021 TACT Trials
Registrations for WDNA's TACT Trials for 2021 are NOW OPEN!!! Trials will be held in February/March 2021 and any WDNA affiliated players turning 12 or above (born from 2009) in 2021 are welcome to trial. Check out WDNA's website for more information.
Please note: ALL Athletes are encouraged to apply for the TACT program as the pathway has changed and Metro League trials will now be held in June 2021 for an August/Sept competition. ALL Athletes will be eligible to participate (including TACT athletes) in the Metro League competition for 2021.
